The artist Lee JinHyu who spent time studying in Spain and Iraq, reflect an unique worldview that blends elements of Korean culture eith Western ecpression. His work, the <Urban> Series (Urban A,B), which resembles the front of an old apartment building, depicts windows and railings densely in a three-dimensional way using various materials. The narrow space betwwen the windows and railings is filled with a mix of media-age images and the artist’s own drawings, capturing the stories of the past and present. Through the <Urban> Series (Urban A,B), the artist’s innovative approach and artistic vision can be appreciated.
